The Studio Manager is responsible for operating and overseeing all front of house fitness studio operations, as well as leading and developing their sales team. The Studio Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators including membership sales and renewals, retail, and concession sales, as well as mentoring and coaching all sales staff in various sales techniques, regulating workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer service.

The Studio Manager works closely with their assigned Regional Sales & Ops Manager on managing, training, and coaching all sales staff, coordinating studio events, and adhering to all OTF business and employee policies for impeccable studio operations. The Studio Manager will develop and lead a high energy culture within the studio and ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity.

  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and scheduling process of new hires.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales & Ops Manager to train, develop, and coach sales staff members.
  • Manage and oversee sales staff workflow throughout the day.
  • Drive in studio contests based on goals – come up with incentive programs and drive results with sales staff.
  • Ensure that all front desk processes are followed including member check‑in, telephone inquiries, guest registration, cash handling, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service across all team members and interactions.
  • Uphold and adhere to all studio cleanliness and sanitation standards by setting the example (restroom checks, equipment cleaning, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, sanitizing).
  • Coordinate with Assistant Studio Manager and Regional Sales & Ops Manager on social media initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales & Ops Manager to develop initial and ongoing sales drivers (presale events, studio events, outreach).
  • Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive‑based motivation.
  • Model all studio activities through self‑involvement (leading by example) and ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions.
  • Other duties/projects, as needed and assigned, to support successful studio operations and goal achievement.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Manager or Assistant Manager role
  • Previous sales leadership and customer service experience
  • Experience working in a quota‑bearing structure preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • CPR/AED certification required: either upon hire or attained within the first 90 days of employment. Valid and up to date certification must be maintained throughout the duration of employment.
