This Risk Management Program Administrator position with the Department of Financial Services oversees all claims and claims activity for a regional unit, supervising staff including Risk Management Program Specialists and Administrative Support personnel, as well as defense attorneys and contract adjusters. The role involves evaluating and disposing of case files, providing training and motivation to staff, and maintaining compliance with current procedures, policies, regulations, and relevant case law.
Based in Tampa, this is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Five years of experience adjusting insurance claims
- Experience in a management or supervisory position related to insurance claims adjustment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of principles and practices of management and supervision
- Ability to supervise people and manage a casualty insurance program
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish working relationships
