Job Title: EDM Operator
Location: Tampa, FL 33619
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Hours: 01:00 PM TO 09:00 PM (Mon – Fri)
Pay Range: $17.00 /hr.

- $23.00 /hr.

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years + experience in machining, measuring equipment and CNC EDM set‑up and program editing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to accurately interpret operation sheets and/or work in‑process documents.
• Math and computer technology skills as well as the ability to read and use measurement tools.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with supervisor, engineers, and co‑workers.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, and decimals.

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Responsible for complying with TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) Program.
• Responsible for complying with CTQ (Critical to Quality) Program.
• Set up and operate assigned machine.
• Solving minor set up problems.
• Perform machining operations per specifications.
• Perform safety procedures and general daily housekeeping.
• Maintain production standards and quality.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO‑9000 quality requirements.

• Lasers CNC – EDM.
• CNC EDM machining centers.
• Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required.
• R&D of new programming.
• Perform manual machining operations.
• Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.
