• Report promptly to supervisors any dangerous or potentially dangerous situations.
• Diagnose and repair problems with electronic controls and associated systems, including motor controls, programmable controls, CNC controls, relay logic, power supplies, and other assemblies.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot circuits and assemblies to improve reliability and serviceability of production equipment.
• Document test results, repair methods, and maintenance history.
• Collaborate with vendor service representatives to resolve system design deficiencies.
• Perform calibrations on electronic/electrical devices as part of the plant’s calibration control program.
• Install equipment to manufacturer specifications and test for proper performance.
• Maintain equipment and keep records of maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and power transmission systems, using appropriate gauges and recording instruments, ensuring compliance with historical standards.
• Interface with other departments to advise on maintenance procedures or equipment malfunctions that may affect their operations.
• Assist in general electrical maintenance of production and facilities equipment.
• Support the development of preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.
• Assist in general mechanical maintenance of production and facility equipment.
• Assist in the general production for processing of customer parts when necessary.

• High‑school diploma or GED.
• 3 to 5 years of prior maintenance/electronics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Additional education, training, certifications, or licenses that are applicable and may supplant the other requirements.

• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence in digital or handwritten format.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and co‑workers.

• Perform basic mathematical functions with decimals, fractions, or percentages.
• Convert numbers from scientific notation to decimal form.
• Convert units between English and metric systems.
• Basic understanding of common scientific principles such as energy, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.

• Comfortable working with low voltage (50‑1000 V) and medium voltage (1 kV‑100 kV) equipment.
• Proficient at reading and interpreting electronic drawings and schematics.
• Experience with calibration processes.
• Mechanically inclined; able to work independently in a demanding environment.
• PLC experience and ladder‑logic troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting VFDs and associated equipment.
• Robotic system programming, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Programming and setting up SCADA systems.
• Troubleshooting industrial networking systems (TCP/IP).
• Open and willing to adapt to changing work scope and priorities.
• May be required to operate a forklift (training provided).

• Climb stairs multiple times during a shift.
• Work from ladders or lifts on the shop floor.
