Job Description
The Packaging Operator is responsible for performing packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing, and wrapping containers, while ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines. The role involves executing batch record instructions, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting manufacturing and quality operations, and performing cleaning and sanitization of packaging areas and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute packaging and labeling processes per batch record requirements of the batch.
• Operate and assist with setup of automated packaging equipment.
• Reconcile and move materials between packaging areas and warehouse.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with cGMP standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms and equipment.
• Report potential issues that may result in deviations or investigations.
• Support equipment qualification protocols as assigned.
• Completely required SOP training and participate in safety processes and meetings.
• Maintain compliance with company, FDA, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate professionally with internal teams and external sponsors.
• Stop work and escalate issues when necessary to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 13 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements preferred.
• Ability to operate packaging machinery and follow batch record instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
