• Read work orders, follow production, and sample assemblies, diagrams, parts lists and receive verbal instructions regarding duties.
• Measure parts to determine specified tolerance.

• Reads and interprets blueprints to fabricate complex assemblies.

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Airframe's portion of the FAA A&P license preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years' experience in aircraft structural repair or flight simulator assembly.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations with other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to figure percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must have a good knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical hand tools and be able to effectively use them (hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and scales, pneumatic and electric drills, rivet guns, fastening tools such as clamps and clecos shop equipment such as drill presses, brakes, and shears etc.).
• Must have a sound understanding of military and commercial workmanship standards.
• Must be willing and able to assume work assignments away from the facility for extended periods, for site installations and be willing to work rotating shifts.
• Must be able to work from parts lists, assembly drawings, schematics, and engineering orders, engineering change orders, engineering logs, CAE workmanship standards and CAE manufacturing procedures / work instructions.
• Must have basic computer skills for time reporting and work order processing.
• Must be able to perform work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Operate a forklift.
• Operate a scissor lift.

Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance; U.S. citizen required.
