Press Operator at Taylor Corporation

Taylor Corporation is hiring a Press Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to be part of a team that values quality and efficiency, we’d like to hear from you.

• Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm OR Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am (2nd and 3rd shifts available)

• Read and follow job orders carefully, and speak up if you see mistakes or problems.
• Set up and adjust the press for each job so it matches the order.
• Watch the product as it runs to make sure it meets quality standards, and fix problems quickly.
• Keep an eye on the press during runs and let maintenance know if there are mechanical issues.
• Start jobs and keep them running on schedule.
• Do regular cleaning and maintenance on the press.
• Work to meet production goals for speed, waste, and quality.

• Basic mechanical skills or an interest in learning how machines work.
• Good math skills to read a ruler and figure out label sizes for the best use of materials.
• Ability to run equipment and meet production and quality goals.
• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions for work orders.
• Professional communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

• Ability to tell colors apart accurately.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting.
