ShiftMon to Fri - 5 AM to 1 PM (40 hours weekly with overtime on weekends)
Job DescriptionCarefully file, smooth, and shape ceramic cores using hand tools and precision instruments.
Inspect cores for cracks, chips, or dimensional defects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
Perform minor repairs (patch) or touch‑ups to maintain product integrity.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Document work performed and report any quality issues to supervisors and team leads.
Responsibilities- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read, interpret and adhere to technical drawings and procedural documentation.
- Experience with fine hand‑finishing or similar precision work preferred.

- Detail oriented and complete understanding of Core Finishing processes (levels I, II, III).

- Conducting tests and inspections to evaluate product or process quality.
- Monitoring/assessing performance for improvements or corrective actions.
- Fine motor coordination for precise small object manipulation.
- Ability to arrange things/actions sequentially according to specific rules.

- Steady hand and arm control during tasks.

High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training.
Ability to learn and operate injection machines and perform all functions of wax injection operation, including placement of patterns in wax setters or fixtures after injection.
Language & Communication SkillsReading and interpreting safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
Recording information on a daily basis.
Speaking and listening effectively in English.
Writing and speaking complete sentences and understanding instructions in English.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two‑ and three‑digit numbers and perform simple multiplication and division.
Reasoning AbilityApplying commonsense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Handling problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, and stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, moving up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision requirements: close vision, color distinction, depth perception, focus adjustment to recognize defects.
