About the RoleAs an Encapsulating Operator at GLOBALPHARMA, you will play a critical role in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process by operating and maintaining encapsulation machinery to produce high-quality pharmaceutical capsules. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all capsules meet stringent quality and safety standards while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be responsible for monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
Collaboration with quality control and production teams will be essential to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, your work will contribute directly to the delivery of safe and effective pharmaceutical products to patients worldwide.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related production environment.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret batch records and technical documentation.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating production machinery.
- Certification or training in pharmaceutical manufacturing or encapsulation technology.
- Experience with automated encapsulation equipment and computerized control systems.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
- Operate encapsulation machines to produce pharmaceutical capsules according to batch records and production schedules.
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on encapsulation equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform in‑process quality checks and document production data accurately in compliance with GMP standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to investigate and resolve any deviations or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement activities to enhance operational skills and process knowledge.
The required skills enable the Encapsulating Operator to efficiently run and monitor encapsulation machinery, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with GMP allow the operator to perform routine maintenance and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements. Preferred skills such as experience with automated equipment and computerized systems enhance the operator's ability to optimize machine performance and quickly resolve technical issues.
Strong problem‑solving abilities support effective troubleshooting and minimize production downtime. Additionally, communication and teamwork skills facilitate collaboration with quality assurance and production teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
