Job Summary:The Roll Machine Operator is responsible for lifting steel plates of various sizes using an overhead crane with various lifting clamps, hooks, and chains to position the plate into a CNC roll machine. The operator utilizes a control panel to operate the machine, which rolls the steel plate to flatten or shape it depending on the job requirements. The Roll Operator continually monitors the quality and flatness/shape of the product throughout the process.
Essential Functions:- Support all TTI/FSS Company and OSHA Safety Policies to ensure they are followed
- Operate overhead crane to load, unload, and position plate on roll machine
- Roll product within specified tolerance on drawings
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman or supervisor
- Accurately document applicable job, product, and quality information utilizing computer and paper documents as required
- Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, codes, and specifications. Will ensure all established fabrication procedures are followed
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols

Qualifications:An individual must perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company professionally. The following are the minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of experience in steel and fabrication facility (preferred)
Skills:
Must communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, other departments, and managers.
Reporting:Reports to Facility Superintendent with a direct line of communication to the Prefabrication Manager.
