Position:
Associate Account Director / Account Director, Affiliate Marketing. The Account Director is a critical role at Acceleration Partners ideal for individuals excited about growing online brands and delivering innovative strategies that grow clients and lead to ongoing success.
- Client Management and Engagement – Serves as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, building trust and encouraging growth and retention.
- Strategic Thinking and Implementation – Develops forward‑thinking strategies that wow clients and encourage close engagement with AP.
- Market Innovation and Big Picture Thinking – Stays dialed into latest industry developments and leverages new publisher models.
- AP Revenue Accountability and Growth – Shows high accountability for reaching existing revenue targets and often exceeds those targets.
- Lead, Coach and Influence – Leads by influence, coaches account managers and teams to implement new strategies.
- Enthusiasm for client delivery and engagement
- Enjoys challenge of growing client programs and engagements
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Comfortable working across large teams with mixed accountabilities
- Strong strategic planner and big‑picture thinker
- Excellent communication skills, data‑oriented, and innovative thinker
- Displays accountability, meets deadlines and keeps commitments
- Can overcome roadblocks with solution‑oriented approach
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of online marketing, e‑commerce, or affiliate marketing experience
- General understanding of affiliate marketing experience required
- Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations and storytelling
- Experience managing revenue targets and data analysis for strategy
- Knowledge of affiliate tracking methodologies via platform partners
- Microsoft Office expertise
- Agency or client‑service environment experience highly preferred
- Track record of increasing client spend through up‑selling and expansion efforts
