Summary of the Position: This position is responsible for providing support for the Hillsborough County program and program director.

• The Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly regarding contract compliance, service delivery, and the participant intake/referral process for services.
• The work focuses more on assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit than on general office duties.
• The position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicants must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as positive role models for youth in community, school, and home settings.

Salary: $43,000

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience in community-based programs is acceptable unless a specific degree is required by the referring authority.
• At least one year of experience in managing personnel and budgets.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Experience in providing home and community-based services.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking is strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage are required.
