The Ritchie Hockey Foundation was founded by Bob and Donna Ritchie in honor of their son, Jason Ritchie—a gifted hockey player and teammate whose spirit continues to inspire. Jason believed in perseverance, humility, and teamwork, values that shaped his life on and off the ice.

The Foundation carries forward that spirit by providing scholarships, hosting skills clinics, and supporting programs that open doors for kids who love the game. Hockey is more than a sport; it is a catalyst for character, confidence, and opportunity.

Today, with strong resources, committed leadership, and a growing national presence, the Foundation is ready to expand its impact and shape an exciting future.

The Executive Director will be both a strategist and ambassador—guiding the Foundation into its next chapter of growth. Based in Tampa Bay, this role calls for a dynamic leader with a passion for hockey, a heart for youth, and the entrepreneurial drive to build.

• Lead the Foundation’s strategy and operations with vision and energy.
• Expand and deliver programs including scholarships, skills clinics, and outreach on a national level.
• Build strong donor, sponsor, and community relationships.
• Serve as a visible ambassador in Tampa Bay and beyond.
• Oversee budgeting, operations, and office management.
• Champion the Foundation’s mission through communications and storytelling.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and optimism.
• Identify opportunities for grants and other fundraising opportunities to propel the Ritchie Hockey Foundation to new heights in order to provide even more opportunities for kids.
