Manager of Powerstories' Girlstories Leadership Theatre
Powerstories Theatre is a nonprofit theatre dedicated to staging true stories of women and girls to open minds and hearts. We are seeking an energetic, system-oriented individual to join our passionate team of theatre/art lovers.
This part‑time position will oversee all aspects of the Girlstories Leadership Theatre program for middle school girls. Responsibilities include upholding quality programs, recruiting artists and students, fostering safe and empowering spaces, connecting with the community, ensuring program quality and outcomes using data for evaluation, and championing the organization’s mission to build strong, smart, and bold girls.
Key qualifications: a bachelor’s in education or youth development (or equivalent experience), middle school youth development experience, ability to guide staff, volunteers, and girls, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The position is part‑time with 640 hours annually; approximately 10 hours a week, with more hours in the summer. The position reports to the Executive Director.
