The OBGYN Triage Nurse (LPN) delivers professional clinical care for patients, providing extensive OBGYN triage via telephone and supporting physician care during examinations, procedures, and testing.

• Perform extensive triage of OB/GYN patients via phone and call patients with test results.
• Conduct fetal non‑stress test (NST).
• Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians during treatment, procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Record patients’ medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure, record, and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other specimen collection as per established policies and provider direction.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a provider.
• Authorize drug refills as directed.
• Educate patients by providing information and instructions and answering questions.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Sterilize medical instruments per established standards and procedures.
• Represent the office professionally and treat all customers, internal and external, with courtesy and cooperation.
• Participate in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Comply with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Ability to obtain and maintain BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong bedside manner and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a stressful, deadline‑driven environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers, and patients courteously and effectively.
• Skill in using a computer and entering data into an electronic medical record system; eCW is a plus.
