- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and participate in collaborative diagnosis, planning, and treatment with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families, managing both acute and chronic conditions through medication, interventions, and monitoring outcomes.
- Interpret laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic data, and act on findings to guide patient care.
- Offer pre‑ and post‑procedural care for cardiovascular procedures, including quality improvement initiatives and data reporting.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law, using computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems.
- Supervise cardiac stress testing, coordinate and initiate consults, review and adjust medications and dosages, provide discharge planning, and ensure efficient patient throughput.
- Collaborate with utilization review and multidisciplinary teams to optimize length of stay and achieve evidence‑based quality outcomes.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Active Florida ARNP License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation, including medical histories, progress notes, and treatment recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Experience in prescribing within scope of practice and working under supervisory physician guidelines.
$91,313.86 – $ per year
