Clinical Nurse Manager – TGH Surgery Center at Morsani (250004WZ)
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the senior nurse manager or director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff delivering direct and indirect patient care on a specific unit. May be called to deliver nursing care according to established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Responsible for assisting with daily clinical operations and contributing to the quality, safety, patient experience, and financial management of the assigned unit.
Assists in interviews and makes hiring decisions as required. Assigns work to and participates in the evaluation of the employees supervised. Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree – Science in Nursing
- Licensure/Certification: RN license
- Work Experience: 2 years’ experience as an RN
- Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Clinical Expertise – Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and standards of care.
- Leadership – Ability to lead and motivate a team of nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
