Sage Infusion is looking for a full‑time patient‑focused Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our rising healthcare startup. This position is based in the Tampa Bay, FL area and is managed exclusively by NPs. As the key provider, you'll be responsible for infusion medical treatment, response management, and post‑care for patients after receiving a physician order. You will administer and monitor patients during treatments and provide education on regimens, condition management, and side‑effects.

The role is an integral member of a multi‑disciplinary team and involves close collaboration with other staff.

• Initiate and implement nursing plans of treatment; evaluate patient progress toward goals; organize and participate in direct patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families.
• Assess patient needs and physical status at each visit, conduct reassessments, and clarify physician orders; promptly inform physicians of significant changes.
• Provide effective teaching using patient‑centered care to help patients and families achieve independence.
• Communicate timely with internal clinical team, providers, patients, and families to facilitate continuity of care; prepare clinical documentation in real‑time.
• Demonstrate compliance with internal policies, professional standards, and all applicable regulations.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
• Accept responsibility for ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Sage Infusion’s mission, values, and objectives.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Speak knowledgeably about Sage Infusion’s scope of services.
• Complete required training modules, continue education, and maintain competency and a valid license; mentor other nurses when assigned.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Licensed/

Experience:

• Licensed professional specializing in infusion therapy and administration of biologics and other medications intravenously.
• Subject to license verification, criminal background check, and drug screening.
• Licensed to practice as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
• Compliance with continuing and mandatory education.
• Practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of Florida.
• Mandatory IV experience.
• Credentialed with insurance payors required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• ER experience highly preferred.
• Ability to speak Spanish highly preferred.
