Job Description:

* Other duties as assigned. Oversees the development and ongoing editing of unit-specific forms and patient education materials including promoting knowledge of oncology and effects for patients, support partner(s), and care providers.

* Monitors surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and reporting key results at Leadership Team meetings.

* Develops and oversees pre and post-op teaching classes, coordinating teaching materials with the physicians' office.

* Tracks and documents data for National Consortium of Breast Centers Quality Program and National Accreditation Program for Breast Center accreditation.

* Informs and educates patients about their breast imaging results and post-biopsy home care. Provides education, support, and assistance to patients diagnosed with breast cancer, advocating for timely access to care and treatment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
