Travel RN - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring infusion and OASIS documentation skills.

Job Details

• Home health setting covering a variety of medical conditions including high risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke,

• Skilled home health visits, averaging 6-8 patients per day,

• Day shifts with varied hours to accommodate office needs, including options like Mon-Fri 8a-5p, Mon-Fri 9a-6p, Thurs-Mon, or Fri-Tues,

• Alternating weekend shifts required,

• Self-scheduling of visits and hours based on office needs,

• Use of Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation systems,

• Laptop, MiFi, and portable printer provided for documentation,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license,

• At least 1 year of recent home health experience with OASIS training,

• Infusion experience is required,

• Skilled nursing home care experience (private duty experience alone is not accepted),

• Current BCLS certification,

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for home visits,

• Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption on file,

• Flu vaccination or declination required; masking required if declining vaccination,

Additional Information

• Care responsibilities include cardiopulmonary assessment, wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx/Asept drain care, foley catheter care and changes, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine usage, SQ/IM injections, venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or Midline care, and SQ port access/deaccess,

• Covers Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients,

• Solid color scrubs may be worn,

• Documentation is completed electronically using provided devices,
