The ER Internship Program, or ENIP is an opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills to transition into an ER setting.

We are seeking motivated, mature, self-directed professionals who are interested in growing in a dynamic team and making a difference.

• Location:
  
  St. Joseph’s Hospital - 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL
• Status:
  Full Time
• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekend requirement – every other weekend
• On Call:
  No
• Always in person

• 3 weeks of didactic and 8-16 weeks of preceptorship
• Guided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledge
• Shift: Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shift
• Every other weekend requirement
• Commitment:
  This is an hours-based commitment required forthe internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hours

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• EKG Script test will be provided at the start of the internship program, you are required to pass within 2 attempts. Failure to do so will result in being released from the internship program
• Preferred: ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• Preferred: 1-year experience in an Acute Care setting

  • 3 weeks of didactic and minimum 8 weeks of preceptorship
  • Guided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledge
  • Shift: Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shift
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Commitment:
    This is anhours-based commitment required forthe internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hours
  Qualifications
  • Active Florida or Compact RN License
  • 6 months or more of licensed RN experience
  • Preferred: 1 year or more of RN experience
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • EKG Script test will be provided at the start of the internship program, you are required to pass within 2 attempts. Failure to do so will result in being released from the internship program
