American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with skilled home care and infusion experience for a day-shift assignment requiring a valid FL or compact RN license.

• Skilled home care setting serving Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients
• Perform 6-8 home skilled visits per day
• Patient population includes cardiopulmonary, general medical, and high-risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke, plus post-op care patients
• Duties include cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx/Aseptdrain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or midline care, and SQ port access/deaccess
• Day shift schedules vary based on Home Care office needs, including Mon-Fri 8a-5p, Mon-Fri 9a-6p, and Thurs-Mon or Fri-Tues rotations
• Alternating weekend shifts required
• Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on office needs
• Uses Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation systems with company-provided laptop, MiFi, and portable printer

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home care experience required; private duty nursing experience alone not accepted
• Home health experience with OASIS training and experience required
• IV skills and wound care experience required
• Infusion experience required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for home visits
• Must be COVID vaccinated or have exemption on file
• Must have flu shot or declination, with mandatory mask wearing if declined
• Cerner experience preferred

• Provide skilled nursing visits in patients' homes, including wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Any solid color scrub permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO is not accommodated for this position
