American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Home Health position requiring skilled home care and infusion experience along with OASIS training.

• Skilled home health setting serving Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients
• Patient population includes cardiopulmonary, wound care, post-op, and high-risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke
• Performs cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, ABI compression dressings, wound vac dressings, Pleurx/Aseptdrain care, foley catheter changes, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, venipuncture, IV skills, PICC/midline care, and SQ port access
• Completes 6-8 skilled home visits per day
• Day shift schedule with hours varying based on office needs, including Mon-Fri 8a-5p, 9a-6p, and Thurs-Mon or Fri-Tues rotations
• Alternating weekend shifts required
• Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on office needs
• Uses laptop, MiFi, and portable printer for documentation
• Charting completed via Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health care experience required
• Private duty nursing experience alone will not be accepted
• OASIS training and experience required
• Infusion experience required
• IV skills and wound care experience required
• Experience with general medical and high-risk diagnoses required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for home visits
• Cerner experience preferred

• Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file
• Must have flu shot or declination, with mandatory mask wearing at all times if declined
• Any solid color scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Former Bay Care permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO is not accepted in travel contracts for this facility
