American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring skilled home care and infusion experience with a valid FL or compact license.

• Skilled home care setting serving Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients
• Caseload includes general medical and high-risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke
• Completes 6-8 home skilled visits per day
• Day shift schedules vary based on Home Care office needs, including Mon-Fri 8a-5p, Mon-Fri 9a-6p, and Thurs-Mon or Fri-Tues rotations
• Alternating weekend shifts required
• Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on office needs
• Uses laptop, MiFi, and portable printer for documentation
• Charts using Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation systems

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required (private duty nursing experience alone not accepted)
• Home health experience with OASIS training required
• IV skills and wound care experience required
• Experience with infusion therapy required
• Skills required include cardiopulmonary assessment, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx/Aseptdrain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, venipuncture, PICC line or midline care, and SQ port access/deaccess
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for home visits
• Must be COVID vaccinated or have exemption on file
• Must have flu shot or declination, with mandatory mask wearing if declined
• Cerner experience preferred

• Provide skilled nursing visits to home health patients with a variety of post-op and high-risk medical conditions
• Any solid color scrub required for dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Former Bay Care permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO is not accommodated in travel contracts for this facility
• First-time travelers may be considered given appropriate skilled home health experience
