This position provides entry‑level research, administrative, and technical support for contract‑ or grant‑funded sponsored projects. Typical duties include maintaining records and equipment, assisting with experiments, collecting or entering data, scheduling project activities, and coordinating communications. Specific responsibilities may vary depending on the project and discipline, ranging from basic data entry to more advanced data analysis or project coordination tasks.
Responsibilities Core Responsibilities- Data collection and analysis: gathers data through methods like experiments, surveys, and interviews. Analyzes and interprets this data using various statistical tools.
- Literature reviews: searches for and reviews published literature relevant to the research topic to inform the project.
- Documentation and reporting: maintains research records, prepares reports, and helps draft publications, grant proposals, and presentations.
- Experimental support: assists with experiments, including preparing materials, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Administrative tasks: handles administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and appointments, managing project documents, and responding to inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be enrolled in a higher‑education degree program (college or university) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- An Associate’s degree may substitute for the required experience.
