The Sociology Department at The University of Tampa has a position available for a Part-time Temporary Research Assistant. The research assistant will help with research for the Nonreligion in a Complex Future grant.

• Schedule and manage meetings.
• Assist with survey design and construction.
• Assist with obtaining IRB approval.
• Review prior literature on research subject.
• Conduct statistical analyses.
• Assist with research papers.
• Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of all cultures and backgrounds.

• Bachelor's degree in Sociology or related field.
• Experience with survey design and construction preferred.
• Statistical analyses experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Temporary Summer position
Up to 15 hours per week
