Summary
Cancer Immunology Postdoctoral Fellow –
The Beg laboratory is interested in developing new strategies aimed at modulating the tumor microenvironment to increase tumor immunogenicity and response to therapeutics. Through both laboratory and clinical trial studies, ongoing projects aim to modulate tumor T cell activity using both small molecule drugs and immune modulators. Specifically, the Beg laboratory is developing novel oncolytic virus strategies, now in clinical studies, to generate potent anti-tumor T cell responses.
Additional studies are focused on the immunological effects of KRAS pathway inhibitors towards the goal of increasing efficacy and attenuating resistance mechanisms.
