Job DescriptionAs a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing 5‑star service, and contributing to the lively atmosphere of our establishment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with Whiskey Joe’s standards.
- Guide guests through menu offerings and upsell in a friendly manner.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar tools and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawers.
- Check identification to ensure that guests are of legal drinking age.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing techniques, and drink presentation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Knowledge of Whiskey Joe’s menu and brand is a plus.
- Education:
High School (Preferred). - Experience:
Bartending – Required 1 year. - Behaviors:
Team Player;
Enthusiastic. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Required – TIPS Certification.
- Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
