Barback - AW Bar

Three Oaks Hospitality is looking for efficient barbacks who can work with bartenders to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The barback will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring it is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartenders and maintain smooth bar operations.

Knowledge of menu items, strong attention to detail, and a focus on providing the best possible service in a fast‑paced environment are required.

• Assisting with opening and closing duties such as restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, and ensuring bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
• Ensuring the bar is well‑stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checking taps and appliances to confirm they work properly; making minor repairs or changing out kegs if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Learning about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.
• Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments during peak hours.
• Speaking to customers, answering questions, and handling complaints.
• Maintaining records and reporting usage levels to assist with reordering and ensuring delivered items are stored properly.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Experience in a bar setting preferred.
• Well‑organized with the ability to take and place orders accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
