Bartender

Overview

Colony Grill is a nationally recognized top workplace and top pizza provider, serving award-winning pizza and drinks in a relaxed bar and dining environment since 1935. We are looking for bartenders with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our hospitality team.

• Ensure proper set‑up of lounge and bar from beginning to end of shift.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items and provide information to customers.
• Navigate the POS system to execute orders and maintain accurate tabs.
• Maintain responsibility of a cash drawer throughout the shift.

• Exceed guest expectations, anticipate needs, and handle complaints.
• Complete quality checks for all guests at the bar.
• Ensure proper table maintenance for bar guests.
• Ensure food and liquor served meet Colony Grill specifications.

• Observe state liquor laws and inspect IDs.
• Prevent over service and deny service to inebriated patrons.
• Maintain professional demeanor and attend training sessions.
• Comply with health code regulations and standards.

• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lbs.
• Maintain a steady pace of service for up to 10‑hour shifts.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in all duties.
