GeneralDescription
Our Cashiers are the friendly face of The Great Greek. They are the main point of contact for all guests; therefore, as a Cashier, you’re in charge of welcoming customers, taking their orders, and guiding them through a great experience from the moment they walk in, ending with a smile. Cashiers have the dual responsibility of direct customer interaction and money handling.
Responsibilities- Smile and greet all guests
- Be accurate in cash handling and credit card procedures
- Be accurate in order taking
- Set up or close down the dining room, restrooms, and patios
- Answer the phone and take call‑in orders
- Direct customers inside the restaurant
- Professionally serve dishes to dine‑in guests
- Help pre‑bus and clean the dining room during service
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Smile, be friendly, helpful, and polite
- Assist expo whenever possible
- Explain the menu and suggestively sell to all customers
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Perform well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
