The Retail Experience Specialist is responsible for ensuring an exceptional in-store experience across bedding and electronics categories. This role manages all aspects of retail execution, including signage coordination, vendor communication, store audits, and compliance with set standards. The specialist will serve as a key liaison between marketing, visual merchandising, vendors, and retail locations to ensure timely delivery and proper placement of all point-of-purchase (POP) materials.
Key Responsibilities Signage Execution- Coordinate ordering and delivery of signage for scheduled remodels, new store openings, and bedding or electronics campaigns.
- Brief in-store campaign POP assets, including signage placement and in-store video assets.
- Work with marketing to ensure all signage aligns with brand strategy and meets established standards.
- Maintain mattress gallery standards guide.
- Partner with construction team, merchants and vendors confirm timely shipment and arrival of marketing materials.
- Communicate with store teams to ensure proper POP placement and adherence to visual standards.
- Conduct store audits to verify compliance with bedding and electronics visual standards.
- Provide detailed recaps and action plans for stores needing updates or corrections.
- Process bedding request forms submitted by stores for missing items required to meet standards.
- Place orders for additional signage or materials as needed to maintain compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, or related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools a plus.
- Ability to travel for store audits and openings 50% of the time.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
- Collaborative team player with ability to work cross-functionally.
