Carts Co-worker

Title: Carts Co-Worker Pay: $17.15 Hours: 11:00AM–7:00PM, Friday–Monday Location: 1103 N 22nd St, Tampa, FL 33605

This role supports the customer shopping experience by ensuring carts, strollers, and other physical shopping tools are readily available and organized throughout the store. The position plays a key part in store flow, customer satisfaction, and maintaining IKEA’s brand standards.

• Assist customers in the loading zone with safe and efficient loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean loading zone by removing excess carts, cardboard, and strapping.
• Monitor and replenish all shopping tools (carts, strollers, pencils, yellow bags, maps, twine, etc.) throughout open hours.
• Ensure all physical shopping tools are fully stocked at closing for the next business day.
• Report issues with digital or physical shopping tools and remove unsafe equipment.
• Address customer needs, resolve basic issues independently, and escalate when appropriate.
• Support customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out, Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect.
• When supporting FSHO: provide customers with a smooth and efficient handout process.
• When supporting Returns: properly stage products and equipment for next steps.
• When supporting Click & Collect: ensure accurate, timely handover of customer orders.

Lifting up to 50 lbs; frequent walking.
