Greentech Renewables is looking for an experienced Switchgear Quotations Specialist. The Switchgear Quotations Specialist is responsible for establishing relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing positions for bids. This individual is also responsible for reviewing bid packages, formulating project quotations, and providing product knowledge.
REPORTS TO: Profit Center Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School or GED2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferredExperience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong organizational skills and product/application knowledge being developedCustomer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to establish good relationships and credibility with all project stakeholdersAbility to collaborate with sales team, customers, and vendorsMust possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated, and be enthusiastic about businessDesire and aptitude to learn quickly with a growth mindset/self-improvement, and continuous learningWORKING CONDITIONS: Working conditions will vary among office, warehouse environment, and job-site visits.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Quote low to moderate profile/complex projectsReview bid package and all the requirements surrounding the package including technical requirements, approved manufacturers list, commercial requirements, and documentation requirementsWork closely with Outside Sales to discuss the strategy and approach for each proposal requestFormat customer request into a quote for bid reviewBreak down bid package and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) to vendors for project quotation levels while communicating deadline, project information, and any additional pertinent information availablePrepare and submit a final proposal with all required documentationMay negotiate pricing with suppliers and offer substitute products where appropriateParticipate in product meetings and training to enhance and maintain personal product knowledgeMeet with the Outside Sales team to discuss vendor strategyEstablish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliersOther duties as assignedNOTE: Because positions may evolve due to the needs of the business, this job description may not list all essential functions and is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities.
