Role Description The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. This role is responsible for generating new roofing business across residential and commercial segments by prospecting, conducting site visits, and following up on inbound leads. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing roof inspections to support estimates, delivering professional sales presentations, preparing and presenting proposals, and guiding customers through service options and insurance-related processes.

The position involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with homeowners, property managers, and HOAs, ensuring clear communication and a positive customer experience from first contact through project completion. The representative will collaborate closely with operations and project management teams to ensure accurate scopes of work and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Sales Presentations and New Business Development to effectively identify opportunities, present solutions, and close deals.
• Proven Relationship Building and Customer Service abilities to establish trust, manage expectations, and support repeat and referral business.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening, to explain roofing services and processes to diverse customers.
• Prior experience in outside sales; roofing, construction, or home services industry experience is highly beneficial.
• Ability to conduct on-site inspections, interpret basic roof conditions, and collaborate with technical staff on accurate proposals.
• Comfort working in the field, traveling to customer locations in the Tampa Bay area, and working in various weather conditions as needed.
• Self-motivated with strong time management, organization, and follow-up skills, including use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in the United States.
