As a Security Guard
- Education Patrol Full-Time in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff, students, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related issues or incidents encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff by providing information and support as needed during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to help maintain a welcoming environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
