Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is looking for a Part‑Time Security Officer – Unarmed Screener to serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Tech/Media/Telecom.
OverviewAs a Patrol Unarmed Officer you will monitor and patrol assigned tech‑focused locations, deter security‑related incidents, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service.

- Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activities to help deter risks.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies.
- Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security concerns and maintain a secure environment.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen required to extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may need prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
