Overview

Security Guard (Armed) - Camp Bondsteel Kosovo (Overseas) — full-time position advertised for overseas deployment on a U.S. Government contract in Kosovo, city of Pristina.

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a United States Army installation, including access to gym and workout facilities, a PX, Burger King, and MWR.

• U.S. Citizen
• If U.S. military experience is referenced, candidate must have a DD214 within the last 10 years for verification
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
• Two (2) years  experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or operations within Armed Forces, civilian police, or commercial security while armed within the past 10 years
• Completed a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or completed an armed forces security or law enforcement training program (verification through training certificates or DD214)
• Current/active U.S. Passport
• Willing to undergo NCIC/FBI background check including fingerprints; clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
• Experience and knowledge of security operations
• Experience with basic force protection
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing
• Pass a Physical Ability Test (to include running 1.5 miles in 17:30 and 21 pushups in two minutes); exceptions or waivers not allowed
• Willing to undergo random drug testing upon request
• Working hours:
  
  48 hours per week; may operate on different schedules and may work additional hours as assigned
• Must maintain physical fitness to perform duties under various conditions and meet contract requirements

The role requires physical fitness and the ability to perform guard duties in various weather and terrain conditions as dictated by the U.S. Government client s contract.
