Mid-Special Security Technician; Physical

This position requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

• Support the Special Security Officer (SSO) in managing access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCIFs.
• Conduct security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and ensure compliance with SCI access protocols.
• Inspect and maintain SCIFs, oversee access control systems, manage intrusion detection, CCTV monitoring, and process SCIF accreditations and policy exceptions.
• Maintain physical security programs, including open storage inspections and residential storage assessments, following DoD standards.
• Pursue SFPC certification within two years.

• Assist in controlling access to SCI and SCIFs, conduct security briefings, and manage classified material.
• At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• Manage access control for USCENTCOM facilities, conduct inspections, and maintain related records.
• Monitor security systems and process accreditation and exception requests.
• Obtain and recertify SFPC within two years.
