Security Systems Programmer

Responsibilities

Install, program, and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, et cetera).

Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes.

Run electrical wiring; related activities include drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.

Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in installing and programming access control systems (AMAG, Genetec, Lenel) and video management systems (Axis, Avigilon).
• Experience with intrusion detection (DMP, Bosch) and fire systems (Notifier, Fire Lite, Silent Knight).
• 3+ years of field experience in installing and programming security systems.
