We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Concrete FOREMAN with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is a true craftsperson who can expertly place, finish, protect, and repair concrete for a variety of commercial projects, including large-scale slabs, foundations, and complex flatwork. You will be a vital member of our crew, ensuring every project meets our high standards for quality and durability.

You will be a leader and will be coachable and teachable.

• Set and check forms for proper pitch, depth, and alignment.
• Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete using screeds, shovels, and rakes.
• Finish concrete surfaces to specified textures and tolerances using hand tools and power equipment, including floats, trowels, and brooms.
• Cut control joints and expansion joints with precision.
• Apply curing compounds and sealants to protect and cure concrete surfaces properly.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust techniques to ensure the best possible finish.
• Work collaboratively with the crew, foreman, and project managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Lead a team of Concrete finishers.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in a commercial setting is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Concrete FOREMAN in a commercial setting is required.
• Proficient in all aspects of concrete finishing, from initial placement to final troweling and curing.
• Extensive experience operating power finishing equipment.
• Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, curing methods, and finishing techniques for commercial applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications is a plus.
• Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), and comfortable kneeling, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from various job sites in the area.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• MUST provide basic tools. Heavier machinery is provided by the company.
