Hotel Maintenance Enginner

Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to communicate effectively with hotel staff and guests.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, pipe leaks, and fire alarms
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field-repairs or maintenance work
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
