Elevator Mechanic

This job opening is in Atlanta, GA. We need a commercial repair mechanic with a license or willingness to get one.

We are looking for a commercial Elevator Mechanic who will be responsible for the service and repair of commercial elevators.

• Servicing and repairing commercial and home elevators :
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
• Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
• Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
• Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
• Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
• Understanding of wiring diagrams

Must be able to pass a driving screen to be insured to drive a company vehicle.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Elevator Mechanic License preferred or willingness to get licensed
• Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic.
• Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
