Structures Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking unlicensed Structures Mechanics with experience performing body and structural repairs on commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Tampa, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Structures Mechanics will fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft parts and structures on commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures, and requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 24 months of relevant experience on commercial aircraft such as 737, A319/320/321, and 767.
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Willing to work any shift, including weekends, with no shift or RDO preferences.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Willing to work overtime as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to pass a 10-year federal background check to obtain a SIDA badge.
- No recent failed or refused DOT drug/alcohol tests in the last 2 years.
- For structures positions, pass a skills test including written and practical exams; failure results in termination.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, as mandated by FAA regulations.
