The Welding Technician performs welding and fabrication work to support equipment repairs, maintenance, and modifications, ensuring rental equipment remains safe, functional, and ready for customer use. This position requires the ability to safely operate welding equipment, tools, and related machinery while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. In addition, the Welding Technician maintains yard cleanliness, organizes rental equipment to improve operational efficiency and minimize customer wait times, and assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out, and basic equipment operation.

• Perform welding and metal fabrication work to support equipment repairs, maintenance, and modifications.
• Repair cracks, worn components, and damaged metal surfaces to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
• Maintain and inspect welding equipment, cutting tools, and related fabrication machinery.
• Prepare rental equipment for customer use by cleaning and detailing with a power washer.
• Ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn, and all safety procedures are followed while working in the yard.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment for customers and deliveries.
• Provide customers with basic equipment operation and safety instructions as needed.
• Stage, organize, and prepare equipment for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain an organized yard to support efficient operations and minimize customer wait times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard‑free work environment throughout the yard and shop areas.
• Perform local deliveries and pickups to customer locations and retail vendors using a company pickup truck as requested.
