Location:

US - Tampa, FLAs a senior hands-on expert, you’ll keep aseptic production and facility systems running safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical issues, lead major repairs, and elevate reliability across utilities and process equipment.

A Night in the Role Start the shift reviewing CMMS work orders and priority calls; plan parts/tools for critical tasks.

Lead troubleshooting on steam sterilizers, ovens, pumps, kettles, piping and utility systems, and electrical controls.

Execute and document preventive maintenance to OEM and SOP standards, minimizing unplanned downtime.

Respond to line calls, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions that stick.

Coach Maintenance Tech I/II teammates—share best practices, mentor on LOTO, and raise the team’s technical bar.

Champion GMP compliance, housekeeping, PPE, and aseptic protocols; keep the work area audit‑ready.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability and performance.

What You’ll Impact From production uptime to audit readiness, your expertise ensures the safe, reliable performance of manufacturing, facility, and lab equipment that supports our mission to protect and enhance sight.

Scope Own daily work orders and PMs; troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade production, facility, and laboratory assets while rigorously documenting work in the CMMS.Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
10+ years of industrial maintenance experience spanning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and piping systems.

Hands-on strength in installing, repairing, and maintaining process equipment and utilities.

Electrical controls experience: motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and sensors.

Industrial piping proficiency: valves, fittings, pumps, and associated components.

Comfort with technical documentation: read/interpret drawings, schematics, P&IDs, manuals.

Proven, safe use of hand/power tools and electrical test instruments.

Organized, detail‑focused, and effective under pressure with clear written/verbal communication.

Machine shop exposure (lathes, milling machines) preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Compliance & SafetyGMP and SOP adherence.

LOTO, PPE, and housekeeping standards.
