The ideal candidate will have low voltage installation knowledge and possess a strong work ethic to progress into a future role with guidance from a senior technician.
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and management of low voltage systems, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
- Assist with the installation and testing of low-voltage cabling and devices
- Pull and terminate network cables
- Mount equipment, cameras, and devices
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues
- Read and follow installation drawings and instructions
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Travel to customer locations throughout the region
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction, electrical, or technical experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Interest in networking, security systems, or technology
- Must be able to pass a background check
