The Social Worker reports directly to the Supervisor of Social Work Services who serves as the Project Director for the School Based Mental Health grant. The Social Worker assists in management and oversight of the School Based Mental Health grant. The Social Worker collaborates with Administrators from Psychological Services, School Counseling Services, and Social Work Services to ensure the activities and goals of the School Based Mental Health grant are completed.

The Social Worker will lead projects such as the yearly symposium, marketing, recruitment and retention initiatives, association and conference participation, and professional learning.

• Collaborate with Administrators from Psychological Services, School Counseling Services, and Social Work Services to ensure School Based Mental Health grant activities and goals are completed.
• Take the lead on projects such as the yearly symposium, marketing, recruitment and retention initiatives, association and conference participation, and professional learning.
• Coordinate with district staff and stakeholders to support the implementation of grant initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to program activities in alignment with grant objectives.
• Serve as a point of contact for the grant, including documentation, reporting, and communications with the Supervisor of Social Work Services.

• Active Hillsborough County Public Schools application on file and appropriate notification status as required for consideration.
• Strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience with school-based mental health programs or related grants preferred.
• Ability to coordinate cross-department initiatives and engage with administrators, staff, and external partners.
