Job DescriptionIDB Bank is seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer with a strong background in Java and Mule Soft products in a high-volume professional environment. This role involves working closely with onshore/offshore teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Define and design secure API-driven architecture
- Design APIs for enterprise integrations
- Own, manage, and improve a consistent approach to design and development
- Communicate effectively with team members at various levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and BAs to gather requirements and design integration solutions
- Create flow diagrams, structure charts, and other system/process representations
- Hands-on development work; build and deployment; SDLC knowledge
This role operates in a dynamic environment where an energetic, positive attitude, multitasking, and the ability to add value are required.

Qualifications- Mule Soft Certified Developer – Integration Professional certification is a plus
- 5–7+ years of hands-on Mule Soft project implementations or similar
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket/Git Hub, and Jenkins
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design and Aspect Oriented Programming
- Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSD, JSON
- Large-scale application development and integration experience
- Self-motivated with tasking and development planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage up
- Core Banking or Lending, wealth management knowledge a plus
Skills:
- 11+ years of applications development experience
- 3+ years Mule Soft project experience (a plus)
- 3+ years with on-prem Mule Soft deployment architecture
- 10+ years with JMS, Spring, and Hibernate ORM
- 10+ years of enterprise integration architecture and patterns
- 10+ years of API-led connectivity
- 6+ years Oracle/SQL database experience
- 10+ years developing SOA/REST and writing/ consuming web services
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and security (Basic Auth, OAuth 1.0/2.0, SSL/TLS)
- Secure coding practices (OWASP)
- Experience with shell scripts, scheduling tools
- Single Sign-On experience a plus
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 11+ years of experience

CompensationThe expected annual salary is between $120,000 and $140,000 at the start of employment. Salary offers are individualized based on skills and experience. The total rewards package includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical/dental/vision plans, life and disability insurance, wellness programs, retirement contributions, generous holiday and paid time off, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
