Overview
Senior Java Application Developer - AVP AMCSSI team within the Account Master Central Group seeks a Senior Java Application Developer to join the development team. The AMCSSI platform is the strategic reference data settlement instruction repository, supporting backward compatibility to the legacy SSI platform and integration with Middle and Back Office systems. System performance and data quality are vital for daily transaction processing.
Responsibilities- Write large-scale Java-based Web Applications deployed on Web Logic and standalone processes on Linux servers.
- Collaborate with AMCSSI BAs and architects to drive technical solutions.
- Develop front-end and back-end components using approved technologies per the Functional Requirements Document.
- Ensure unit tests are created and executed for all components and changes.
- Monitor process flows and alert messaging; remediate potential issues proactively.
- Document environmental procedures.
- Investigate level 2 issues and influence changes to improve system stability and business objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams to investigate and remediate data quality issues.
- Improve personal and team productivity through innovative use of tools.
- Comply with policies and contribute to procedural improvements.
- Accurately estimate effort for tasks and meet commitments.
- Strong technical skills; 5+ years core Java.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Java Messaging EMS, REST services.
- 3+ years UI development with Angular (11+), Bootstrap.
- Hibernate framework; basic Unix/Linux commands;
Oracle and Mongo
DB CRUD. - Experience with Reference Data across Accounts, Standing Settlement Instructions, Omgeo ALERT is a plus.
- Hands-on coding and ability to work independently; experience in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, TestNG.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
